Dearest, dearest Peggy…Even though you’re no pharmacist, I never got anything past you and I pride myself on being a bit sneaky. I sure enjoyed working with you. In a word, I’d say beautifully well-rounded. I appreciate you being a cheerleader for my communication with the doctors. I hated being on “lockdown” at night but loved that you really didn’t care if I liked it or not. You still were always just so kind. It was clear to me that you would care with an iron first but a gentle touch and smile. All a perfect recipe for caring for patients that need that little extra attention! I’m never going to forget you or how perfect your coffee was at 4:00 am, or the alarm going off all night long and how silly you were. Boy, I just loved that! Not something I’ve encountered in any hospital before. You're a diamond that shines bright. I won’t forget you.
