Peggy Newman, RN

Peggy was our amazing daytime nurse in the postpartum unit. She was incredibly warm, friendly, and kind while also allowing us space to soak in our new baby. As a new mom of two, I appreciate when experienced mothers remind me of all the reasons why adding a new member to your family is so valuable! Most importantly, Peggy did two things to make my stay great: 1) She removed my IV and helped me shower 12 hours after birth, making me feel human again. 2) She also learned that we wanted to go home shortly after the 24-hour mark and immediately got to work to make it happen! Sleeping in my own bed was the greatest postpartum gift Peggy could have given me.
