Peggy has made a significant impact among our internal teams and built trusted relationships with our clinical national and local client leadership teams.
Peggy Pollard joined Cerner over 2 years ago after being the Director of Informatics for a large organization, where she led the implementation of Cerner’s full suite of solutions. With over 30 years of experience, her tremendous knowledge of informatics and clinical practice has been invaluable to her current work with Cerner. With Cerner leading some of the largest health IT transformations in history, Peggy is instrumental development of a program that will have widespread interoperability impacts leading to improved access and outcomes for patients across the globe.
Peggy is known across the program as a Nursing leader and subject matter expert. Peggy works across Cerner and client organizations and fosters a collaborative and positive environment with everyone she works with. This collaboration has been instrumental in ensuring adoption of some of the most challenging workflows. Not only does Peggy have a deep understanding of Cerner’s full suite of solutions, but she also has deep knowledge of clinical processes and policy and applies this knowledge to the implementation of Cerner’s clinical solutions and workflows for our clients.

Peggy’s extensive experience as a previous Cerner client provides an important perspective to our team and she also uses this perspective to advocate for our clients. Peggy has been critical to the implementation of Referral Management and has been working tirelessly to ensure it is successful.
Additionally, Peggy has led optimization efforts post go-live and continues to ensure ongoing advancement and adoption occurs through leading the joint Improvement work efforts. Peggy mentors new Nurse Executives on the CGS Team and is considered a Nursing Leader among her peers and the client. She the first to recognize a colleague and provide kudos to their leader. She works tirelessly to ensure the team feels supported.
Peggy also works across teams within Cerner to collaborate on initiatives that will benefit all of Cerner’s nurses. She leads the Federal work effort for BluePrints. The use of BluePrint data will help our clients be positioned for success. Peggy is incredibly passionate about Nursing, Informatics, and the mission of high-quality healthcare. We are so thankful Peggy joined Cerner and are grateful for the passion, experience, selflessness, and leadership she provides to this program.
