Penelope Butler is a very special nurse, she has a true caring concern for the patient. She makes them feel good emotionally which is one of the best ways a health care professional can be. When the patient rings she comes right away. She even checks on her patients every 2 hours whether needed or not. She stays busy caring for all her patients and is constantly moving. She is friendly and makes the patients always feel comfortable. She never undermines the patient's feelings, she makes them feel as if they are the most important person she sees.
Penelope is always smiling; upbeat and friendly she also makes the visitors comfortable. All needs are met by her. She is very gentle when working with the patients. She is concerned with their safety. She goes out of her way to be the best she can be. Her cheerfulness makes the patient and family feel special, you don't find that often.
Penelope is knowledgeable in her job but is not afraid to say, "I don't know," and will find out and get back with you. With Penelope around you can be assured that all the patients' needs are met and cared for. She really deserves this award for all the good work and emotional care she gives.
