When I was there for my stay in the hospital on Thanksgiving, there were a lot of nurses that called out that weekend; but when Nurse Penny entered my room, she noticed some things were not right. My room was not cleaned, my bed needed new sheets and my bathroom was a mess. Penny is a great multi-tasker because she was fixing my room and making sure I received my medication. Even though that was not her job, she just wanted me to feel comfortable because I was away from home and spending the holiday in the hospital. She went out of her way, just to put a smile on my face. Penny also made sure my family was taken care of and worked over her shift because she wanted to be sure that I got my medication. Penny came in and took care of everything. She is a great example of a great nurse!
