Penny Witmore, RN

Penny Witmore was my teenage son's nurse while he was in the ER. Penny showed kindness to me by listening to the situation, letting me vent, and giving me a hug when I cried. She spoke to my son with compassion and understanding without judgment. She even shared a private story about her own son, who had passed away recently. When caring for a child in a healthcare setting, you also must include caring for the parent. Penny is an amazing woman and nurse. She exhibits all the qualities of a nurse of excellence. The Monroe ER is lucky to have her.
