There's no doubt with regard to the commitment Perla has to her Veteran patients and their families. She wholeheartedly gives 110% to the care of her patients. As she has said herself before, she does not feel that she would have the bravery to do what these men and women have done, so what better way to honor that courage than by serving and helping them during their and their family's time of need.
She consistently strives to improve the quality of care provided to the Veterans at JBVAMC by ensuring adequate staffing to effectively serve the number of Veterans on the unit. Perla always listens to the individual Veteran and ensures that their complaints are resolved in the best and most efficient way by utilizing both her nursing judgement and her compassion for our Veterans.
