Perla is being awarded for her tremendous hard work, efforts, and strong leadership centered around RWC's Magnet Journey and culture of nursing excellence work with our Nursing Unit Council teams with the RWC-CNE as the interim Magnet Program Director as well as performing in her role as an NPDD. Perla, despite having little exposure to Magnet principles and work, is mindful of the overall work and is doing an excellent job conducting teaching sessions, organizing the NUCs, and sharing information with the various teams and Chairs and Co-Chairs to help develop them in their new roles within the Professional Development Structure. Perla’s commitment to our culture of nursing Excellence journey is much appreciated and for this, she is a DAISY Nurse Leader.
