Peter Gikas, BSN, RN

My fiancé, N, was in Methodist with A-fib and tachycardia. He is also battling esophageal cancer so we were pretty frightened and upset. When they brought N to the cardiology unit Peter was his nurse. He made my fiancé feel confident that he was in good hands. He was very courteous, caring, and attentive. He took very good care of N. He was also informative about the medicines N was being put on and made sure that we had no questions unanswered. He made what started out to be a frightening and terrible experience into one that shows that there are still people out there who are compassionate and devoted to their jobs and Peter is definitely one of them. We couldn’t thank Peter enough for that!
