Peter Koulouris, RN

Peter consistently demonstrates care and compassion for all patients in his care. Most recently, he had a very challenging assignment with two behavioral health/social hold patients who were exhibiting very challenging behaviors with complex family dynamics. He was observed on several occasions taking firm yet empathetic control of these patients' behavioral outbursts and redirecting and calming them during their care.

Additionally, he had several hallway and phone updates with family members regarding their loved one’s plans of care. He demonstrated a level of genuineness and compassion that is not frequently observed when caring for challenging behavioral patients. He is unhurried, empathetic, and concise, and his conversations seemed to offer immediate comfort and support to the families. We are truly blessed to have Peter as a member of our Ballantyne family!
