Peter Mangiola, RN

Peter has shown remarkable loyalty to Trinity Health and our staffing needs over the past 6 months. He has gone over and beyond to make sure that patients who need to be seen, whether they are his personal patients or in overflow, are seen in a timely manner. Over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday periods Peter offered to work both holiday weekends and was a big reason why we were able to see all our patients during that time.

During the week Peter has offered time and time again to perform INR finger sticks and visit patients who needed foley catheter assessments and/or changes frequently whom he did not case manage. Peter has also consistently offered to assess medication reconciliations on patients other than his own when staffing was low so high-risk rehospitalization patients had proper medications. There have also been many weekends where Peter picked up extra to help with new admission/start of care visits to help out the weekend staff. In our times of need, we were very lucky to have someone like Peter who has shown a great work ethic and compassion for our patient's well-being. Peter has been a huge reason for the success of not only PDH02 but the entire Lower Philadelphia Branch.
