I was a patient at St Joseph's and was in the care of Petra Frey during that time. I have been a patient there a few times in the last few years and had never experienced the kind of care I received from her in the past.
I also had helped my mother-in-law, maneuver through 4 different hospitals in the Southern California area and could only wish that she had received the kind of compassionate and efficient care that I received from Petra Frey.
I understand that there are different levels of acknowledgment but certainly from my experience with her as compared to many personal, vocational and family experiences in the past, she deserves the highest means of recognition. I am a retired social worker and have accompanied, supported and fought for the needs of many clients through the decades.
Petra Frey stands out in my experiences as one of the best in caregiving nursing!
