Peyton J Eve, RN, BSN

Peyton was my father’s ICU nurse for one day. It was a very stressful day for my family. I had to make the decision to stop treatment and start Hospice care. Peyton was wonderful. She helped with my dad’s comfort and answered my many questions, all while training a new nurse. 

Peyton was quick to contact doctors for me – to help with the decisions I needed to make, provided support with my final decision, getting us a food tray, and the whole time being attentive to my elderly father who was battling multiple medical issues. Peyton offered her warm smile and helping hand during a difficult time. 

Peyton did all this for my family while setting a good example for a new nurse. 

Peyton interacted well with my father’s entire care team. 

Peyton was simply available to us in a quick manner and worked diligently until the problem was solved. She was kind to my father, who was not doing well and, at times, was very confused. He was thrilled when she found the TV channel with the NASCAR race.
