May 2025 Honoree
Phebe Patino, LPN
My daughter was admitted to the hospital the evening of December 29th after her visit to the emergency room. I drove out to be with her and spent 6 hours there, arriving at 6:29, leaving after midnight. So, I was there through a shift change.
The first nurse was very kind and attentive. The second nurse, Phebe, was incredible. She was so available, and most importantly, a very good listener and advocate.
I felt like she really heard my daughter and me. I haven't spent much time in hospitals, but Phebe was exceptionally good and compassionate. It made a very scary situation, where I felt helpless, definitely more manageable. I hope Phebe is being recognized and valued as a member of your team.
