Phil Nissley, RN

I am truly in awe at the amazing care my mom received from RN Phil Nissley in MOU. He was incredible! He exuded compassion in a way that I have never experienced. He explained everything to my wife, me and my mom. He always spoke up where she could hear him. He asked for our input on her care. I never had to worry about the evening staff not getting good communication from him. He never acted bothered by requests or questions. He was kind, gentle and did his best to give my mom dignity. As I write this I am in tears. Because his care was so above and beyond. I told him at the time how much we appreciated his amazing care and what an incredible nurse he is. But I wanted other people to know. Nursing is hard, very hard and to still do it in such an incredible way deserves to be recognized. My mom is 90 and her health isn’t great, and this hospitalization was scary for me. Phillip made us feel safe and like it was going to be ok. He made it possible for me to breathe. As my mom’s caregiver I don’t often get that.
