Phil is an awesome charge nurse and not only rounds on the patients in the ED, but rounds hourly or more on the staff. This is especially appreciated by the newer nurses in the department. Multiple nurses have sought out management to say how much they appreciate this support. It is part of Phil's makeup to "care for the caregiver", this has a ripple effect to ensure quality patient care.
