Phil Wascavage was nominated by a young patient’s mother, who said Phil made them feel safe.  “He was comforting and caring and eased our worries without making us feel like a burden.  He talked me through my son’s test results in the middle of the night because I was scared, and he calmed me down and reassured me he was on the road to recovery.  He even offered to make me coffee at 5 am!”
