As a physician, I noticed and appreciated Phuong's attention to medical details, combined with her interpersonal skills and genuine care for patients as people!
She took care of my mother for two days over Valentine's Day. She was impressively detail-oriented. Several of Mom's medications had administration cautions regarding crushing the pills. Mom has swallowing issues 2° external beam radiation to her neck. Before dispensing each med (there were a number) Phuong discussed the cautions/concerns with us and then called the pharmacy to get further details in order to ascertain whether the pills could be crushed. She investigated thoroughly prior to administering each med. I was extremely impressed with her diligence!
Additionally, she was energetic and friendly. She popped in several times during the day each time with a big smile and cheerful countenance! A joyful heart is good medicine (Proverbs 17:22) Thank you, Phuong!

We did not have a major event that Phuong participated in, but the two words that come to mind are: Thorough and Pro-active. Phuong's smile and mature yet cheery demeanor while going through the daily regimen of questions and tasks ensures good care with a healthy dose of the intangible things that seem to boost everyone's vitals.
Secondly, her pro-activeness in moving out unused equipment and caring for my mom was exceptional. She did not simply record stats and numbers to pass along to the Doctor, she perceived the situation and added thought. She departed from robotic, recipe-driven care, into holistic care that picks up on the things that others miss.
