My dad came to the hospital with two fractures, one in his left femur and another in his left hip. He was in extreme pain. Even moving his leg, a tiny bit, caused him extreme pain to the point that he'd cry. Nurse Phylana was his nurse for two nights. My family and I could tell right away how caring and thoughtful she was.

She went above and beyond in making sure that my dad was comfortable and receiving the proper care. I could tell that she was busy with other patients, but she always took the time to make sure my dad was okay.

She did the not-so-glamorous parts of her job with no hesitation. I could tell that it made her happy to help my dad and even make sure that I had what I needed as I slept in the room each night with my dad.
