When I came in with the problems I had that were brought upon myself and my drug addiction, I felt pathetic, worthless, ashamed. While speaking with the Phyllis I told her these things; how I felt like a nobody, a junkie. She took the time to talk to me and said without even knowing me that I was so much more than that. Those things were just a small part of me but did not define me as a whole. She told me she believed I have a purpose and really lifted my spirits and changed my outlook on life and made my stay here wonderful. I really believe our crossing paths was more than a mere coincidence. God knew I needed someone to boost my spirits and that person was Nurse Phyllis.
