When I first arrived on T6, I was more scared than I have ever been. At 24 years old I was experiencing chest pains and fearing for my life. I had gone from urgent care to the ER to T6, making it a very long day. I had not eaten that day, and was sleep deprived. I lost my own father to a heart attack at a young age. I couldn't stop thinking about my father and I cried to PJ. PJ comforted me, sat with me, and made me feel safe. She brought me food and made sure I was taken care of mentally and physically. She reassured me she would keep a close eye on me and would be there for anything I needed. I've never received better care. PJ is an extraordinary nurse and a wonderful asset to the telemetry unit. Thank you, PJ!
