Phyllis Holder, RN
Ms. Phyllis Holder joined the Woodhull Team in the Behavioral Health Department as a staff Nurse in 1998 where she has worked assiduously in both the Outpatient and Inpatient settings. Ms. Holder’s comprehensive knowledge of the field and hands-on experience throughout the last 17 years in the Psychiatry department led her to hold the position of Head Nurse of Unit 3 in 2007. Ms. Holder has worked collaboratively with all disciplines and has contributed significantly to the development of strong team momentum. She encourages the full participation of all team members acknowledging and recognizing that all members have a valuable input to the team’s objectives. Ms. Holder has continued to build her knowledge by completing her Community Health degree certification at St Joseph College in 2015 and imparting that knowledge to all staff. Ms. Holder’s commitment and loyalty to the Nursing department continue to be a great contribution to the profession and the organization as a whole. She is currently an active member of the Policy and Procedure Committee and the co-chairperson of the Behavioral Health Department’s Shared Governance Council.
