The PICU team provides compassionate care for patients and families caring like family. The team works hard. The PICU team maintains SGH values like integrity, passion, dedication, family, people-centric culture, respect, responsibility, trust, and innovation. The PICU team achieved a 100% compliance rate in nursing continuing professional development activities and achieving 100%compliance in demonstrating competency assessment. The PICU team handles acute cases like post-RTA cases and complete recovery and discharge for the patient without complications and long-term cases with zero pressure injury and zero fall injury. Their objectives in the unit aligned with SGH's nursing mission and vision. They maintain interprofessional collaboration and teamwork. The PICU team actively participates in the shared governance councils. They implement the professional practice model PPM in daily practice. The PICU team provides high-quality patient care based on the latest evidence-based practice. They have good relationships with doctors and other healthcare providers.
