Our nurse Piyali was so amazing! We came to Winnie Palmer on Tuesday night for induction and three days later had a C-section of our baby boy. There were many unexpected turns that happened during my delivery that extended our stay and our baby ended up in the NICU. Piyali was so understanding and on top of everything. I was running on zero sleep from going back and forth from the NICU and also attending to my own healing. We communicated about time schedules and she was even my alarm clock for any small opportunity I had to sleep. She was always available to me and would remind me that my recovery is just as important as my baby's. Being a new mom you care more about your baby than anything else. When I could not remember to do what I needed to do for myself Piyali was there to take care of me. She made this extensive stay even more manageable. Thank you Winnie Palmer for all that you do for us mommies.

Piyali is so helpful and knowledgeable; she helped me a lot with my newborn. She taught me how to wrap my baby and also told me what signs to look for when my baby is crying. I had a C-section and she helped me so much. She gave me very good advice on how to manage my pain. She is so good with newborns. She is friendly and approachable. Piyali is very empathetic. When I rang for help she was always willing to help and I didn't have to wait so long for help. She comes right away; if she is busy she will send help so I can be attended to.

Piyali’s communication skills are excellent. She is so knowledgeable about when to give me my medicine and explains the medicine to me. I want to thank Piyali for all she has done for me and my newborn. God bless her for doing a difficult job every day with a smile on her face. We love her. Thank you does not seem to say what I truly need to say what I feel, but thank you. Piyali is a true hero for us.
