With at least 40 of the VA's staff helping me recover for ten days after a total knee operation one person stood way above in helping me in multiple ways. Ponnamma Kurian is an excellent nurse and is very skillful and knowledgeable and was always there for me at night, it was the little things she did that made such an impact, Ponnamma anticipated my needs in the little things such as bringing me two cups of ice and extra blankets. She is compassionate and cares for you as if you were her family. Ponnamma always has a happy-go-lucky attitude. The Veterans on the floor are in good hands with Nurse Ponnamma I truly enjoyed her company whenever she showed up. She is such an outstanding human being.
