My son had orthopedic surgery on his shoulder. The Nurse had difficulty putting his IV in and my son has anxiety issues, so the first IV attempt blowing his vein and not going well made him almost have a panic attack. Posie was called in to give him the IV and her manner with him, the way she explained every step, and her level of experience was such a positive experience for him. If it wasn't for her, I know that my son would have been so much more anxious going into the surgery process.
