Ms. Precy delivered her service with love and patience (treating her patients like her own family member).
I observed how passionate Precy is when rendering care to her patients. The one scenario that touches my heart is when we had this post-cardiogenic shock psychiatric patient. Knowing the diagnosis we all knew how difficult it is to deal with this particular patient. During our duties together I saw Ms. Precy's compassionate care and her therapeutic communication with the patient. There were times when the patient got mad, didn't want to cooperate with some procedures, and even had symptoms of his psyche disorder.
Ms. Precy handled the situation very well. Explaining every procedure and medication repeatedly just to gain the trust of the patient and for the patient to cooperate with his treatments. She delivered her service with love and patience (treating her patients like her own family member). She makes sure that the patient receives quality nursing care. I saw some moments wherein the patient smiled at her (thanking her for the care she gave). With the patient's compliance with his regimen, his prognosis improved little by little. I also noticed how she became an advocate and how she relayed to the doctors her personal assessments of her patients. She speaks on behalf of her patients and suggests some procedures/tests to the doctors that benefit the patients. Our unit is blessed for having her in the field.
