My family would like to recognize Pretty for showing my mother compassion and understanding in her long battle with diabetes. Pretty recognized how high of readings my mother’s blood sugar levels were, and she immediately took action to check her meal trays for all white products, including sugary items. Before her tray reached her room, she explained very effectively to my mom as to why she was removing the items, and my mom was very thankful her nurse cared so much for her life. No one has ever made her feel like her health was a top priority until she met this nurse. She has only ever been hospitalized four times in her life, and Pretty has made an impact on how she now views a nursing department. Even though a patient is supposed to care more for their health care, Pretty showed her how much more her health mattered to her as her health care provider. Thank you for everything.
