My nurse, PJ, always makes me feel comfortable. He always has a smile on his face. I have complete faith and trust in him. I came to the ED sick, scared and in pain. P.J. helped to calm me down and sat with me and talked like we were best friends. He made me feel safe and comfortable and eased my fears. He was so caring and kind. He stayed with me until the doctor came in and kept reassuring me that everything was going to be OK, and it was. I have never before, or since, been seen by a nurse who showed so much compassion. He was so amazing.
