Priscilla James, RN

While I was visiting my wife, my wife and I were talking with Nurse Priscilla, she was telling us when it was time for the next pain meds. She went to check and verify if the doctor would allow it early or not. I was watching TV, and my wife said she was going to close her eyes. As she said that, I looked, and she had stopped breathing. As I went to yell, Nurse Priscilla was already coming through the door. She sprang into action like a true leader; she was hitting buttons, giving orders, and took over doing chest compressions. In my eyes, she saved my wife's life. And for that, my family and I are forever in her debt. I can tell when someone loves what they chose in life to do, she cares and shows it. She makes a dark, sad situation a little bit brighter. We need more nurses with this caliber of care. She took care of my wife and is the true meaning of hospital care. I thank you, Ms. Priscilla, RN, and my family thanks you.
