Priscilla educates patients on diabetes and heart failure. Woodland Hills Medical Center is the regional model for patient diabetes education due to Priscilla's collaboration with inpatient, and her outreach to patient diabetes education.

She is also responsible for developing strategies to educate 1/3 of our diabetic population, leading the region for two consecutive years in diabetic education. Her clinical expertise, exceptional skills as an RN educator and her passion for helping members improve their health makes her an excellent candidate for the DAISY award. Priscilla attends the regional diabetes health education meetings and local heart failure task force, where she shares her knowledge with others and brings back to the department valuable information to help her colleagues improve the care they deliver to our members.

Priscilla's interpersonal skill and compassion are valued by both members and colleagues. Priscilla also demonstrates exemplary service to all staff and is one of our service champions. She goes above and beyond all day and every day.

Thank you, Priscilla, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
