Hi Prissie, I wanted to share a letter from a friend and colleague you recently cared for. She had a tough moment. Thank you for being there and supporting her with dignity and compassion. It meant a lot.

"I wanted to share with you my experience from staying a few days in the EMU at Kaiser Sacramento (Morse) this week. I was cared for by one of the most empathetic nurses I’ve ever met, Prissie Cayan. I was struggling being there, dealing with a lot of anxiety and PTSD from my 16-day ICU stay last year. Prissie took time to be with me as I cried, she was reassuring, and a voice of calm when I was spiraling down a dark path in my head. She made me feel empowered to take charge of my own care and to make the best decisions for me. While I ultimately decided for my own mental well-being to end my visit early after discussing it at great length with my Epileptologist, I felt no judgment from any of the nursing staff, and I feel that Prissie really had my best interests as a person at heart. You have some great people there, and I wanted to share my gratitude with you for them."
