June 2026 Honoree
Pritty Saji 2, RN
After my delivery, my biggest pain was seeing my baby admitted to the NICU. I was emotionally broken, scared, and constantly worried about my baby’s condition. During that difficult time, one nurse became my greatest support — Sister Pritty. She was not only caring toward me but also gave me strength when I felt helpless. She always came to comfort me, spoke kindly, and reassured me that I should stay strong for my baby. Her words gave me hope during my darkest moments.
Even while managing her busy duties, she never ignored my fears or emotions. She listened patiently whenever I cried and encouraged me with so much compassion. Sometimes I forgot I was away from my family because she treated me like her own sister. I also have difficult veins, but she inserted my IV cannula gently and perfectly in one attempt. Her professional care and calm attitude made me trust her completely. A mother never forgets the people who stand beside her during painful moments.
While my baby was fighting in the NICU, Sister Pritty helped me stay strong emotionally and mentally. Her kindness, humanity, and dedication truly made a difference in my life. Big shout-out to Sister Pritty and all NICU and postpartum nurses who support mothers not only medically, but emotionally too. You are angels for families going through difficult times.
