Priyanka is new to MacNeal, but has already demonstrated the qualities it takes to be an excellent RN on a heavy unit. She shows compassion and genuine concern when interacting with patients and families, the latter often very concerned and constantly questioning about their loved ones' care. She has shown clinical aptitude when assessing her patients, and has a questioning attitude when it comes to new medications or treatment plans. Priyanka is often the first one to respond to a call light. Her concern for patient safety is at the forefront of her care. Overall, Priyanka has demonstrated the qualities that make a great nurse, and she deserves to be recognized.
