HN Shuldham was very attentive to my son and me.
HN Shuldham lifted my spirit when I needed it the most. I was having a really rough first day after a C-section. He made jokes to lighten the mood which greatly helped. He gave me many “dad jokes,” which actually made me laugh and smile. HN Shuldham also has a very professional side. He actually showed me how to finger-feed my newborn son which helped me so much.
Any questions that I had, he either knew the answer or he found out fast. He is very kind and professional and he clearly enjoys his job. He definitely made a positive impact on a day that had already been extremely tough. Call it postpartum hormones, but I may have shed a tear or two when his last shift was over and I was discharged. I hope to one day cross another health care professional that loves their job and cares for their patients as much as HN Shuldham does.
HN Shuldham was very attentive to my son and me. He watched over H while I was recovering and H was struggling to breathe. When I finally was reunited with my baby in the nursery, he made me feel welcome and I could tell he took good care of H in my absence. As a first-time mom, his patience and knowledge made this jarring experience more tolerable. We were here for a few days and as luck would have it, he was also my corpsman when it was time for discharge. He will forever be a part of my journey into motherhood and I am truly grateful.
I would like to thank HN Shuldham for helping me after I gave birth. He answered all of my questions and was very cautious with handling my baby overall. I had an amazing experience. HN Shuldham was the same way but on the night shift. He came into our room and was so gentle and understanding of it being so late and the baby being tired. When it came time to remove my baby’s IV line, he cheered with joy to see him not in pain. It was more than any new mom could ask for.
