While I was visiting my friend, who is a patient, she asked me to go get her nurse, she felt something was very wrong, possibly a stroke. The nurse, Qontrel, was at the desk. He was dialing the phone and at one point had a phone to each ear! All the while, I knew he was listening to me as I told him the patient's name, room number and who her nurse was. I went back to her room and seconds later Qontrel was there. He connected specifically with her situation by asking her questions and assessing her. He is an excellent listener, assessor, and advocate. Qontrel is an example for all other nurses. Qontrel collaborated with her nurse and told us that he was on his way. I knew that when I left her, she was in excellent hands. Qontrel is an amazing nurse.
