During patient rounds, Quanda was recognized as compassionate and caring. The patient explained that she was contemplating suicide due to her new cancer diagnosis. It was the compassionate care and smile she received from Quanda that changed her mind. She stated, "She showed me that people still are nice and care about me. This nurse just met me and cares for me greatly."
