He is not my nurse. He is the nurse of my roommate. But I see and hear how he truly cares for his patients. He uses a flashlight from his phone so that in the middle of the night, he doesn’t wake me up when he comes to the room to check on his patient. He came regularly in the middle of the night. He explained carefully and slowly to the patient. He doesn’t rush. He even went out of his way to get a portable ultrasound machine as the patient needed to get a needle insertion done in preparation for her procedure. I saw him organize her bed when she was in the bathroom. He even asked me if I was okay and if I needed anything even if I was not his patient. Many more, but I can’t remember the rest.
