Quincey is a dedicated employee with clinical expertise willing to jump in and help whenever and wherever needed.
I wanted to recognize Quincey George because of her extraordinary care and compassion for all residents. Quincey is a dedicated employee with clinical expertise willing to jump in and help whenever and wherever needed. Quincey has repeatedly stepped up to cover shifts when we were critically short-staffed, sometimes at a moment's notice. Her willingness to pick up extra shifts, work overtime, and adjust her schedule to meet the needs of our facility has been nothing short of remarkable. Quincey does this not out of obligation but out of a deep sense of responsibility and dedication to her residents and colleagues. We faced a particularly challenging week with staffing shortages. This situation could have severely impacted resident care, but Quincey volunteered to help cover those shifts. She managed to maintain her high standard of care despite the long hours., but what sets Quincey apart is not just her reliability but her positive attitude.

Quincey is an exceptional leader, mentor, and coworker. She never hesitates to lend a helping hand, whether it is rearranging her schedule to pick up night shift holes or feeding residents during mealtimes. She goes the extra mile to learn things about our residents, which improves their stay at Haven Place. For example, we have a new dementia resident who will not stop moving to sit down and eat. Quincey learned he liked bananas and could eat them on the go. She ensures he has bananas in his room if he is asleep during mealtime. Quincey provides education in multiple ways to engage staff, so we are always updated on the newest supplies, policies, or procedures. Her yearly skills days are not only informational but also fun for the staff to participate in. Quincey is a great asset to Haven Place. The residents and staff are very lucky to have her.
