Rachael reminded me of my own ma. I felt so safe in her care and was not at all for one second worried about anything while she cared for me.
Oh my goodness, Rachael deserves an Emmy Award. She jumped right in at one of my not-so-greatest moments and reassured me, offered words of encouragement, and made sure I felt comfortable all night long. I know she is not just a nurse but an advocate, a real-life superhero, and one of the best humans this world has to offer. Rachael reminded me of my own ma. I felt so safe in her care and was not at all for one second worried about anything while she cared for me. Rachael and her corpsmen made sure I slept, ate, and took time to care for me. They both took G out of the room so my husband and I could get good sleep to decompress. I owe it to her. She will never not be talked about when I tell my son about his arrival to this world. She is a real-life angel and I will forever be thankful for her.
