Rachael consistently goes above and beyond to make a difference for her patients, her peers, and the community. In the Critical Care setting, Rachael is an experienced and compassionate nurse who takes excellent care of her patients' physical and personal needs. She is caring and always takes the time to teach and explain things in a way patients and their families can understand. Rachael fills in as a relief charge nurse in the ICU and serves as a member of the Rapid Response Team to provide clinical support to nurses in other areas of the hospital. Rachael also acts as a preceptor for nurses new to the ICU.  

Rachael also advocates for nurses and patients as a leader in Nursing Shared Governance and has arranged for periodic coffee cart rounds to give and share feedback with the team. She also volunteers at several community events, including helping with hearing and vision screenings at a local elementary school. Rachael also represented Abrazo Central at the West Heart Walk earlier this month.
