Recently two patients have taken the time to honor Rachael by nominating her for the DAISY Award. Their words speak volumes about Rachael and her nursing care.
One husband writes-
"Rachael, the nurse in the Infusion Center, exhibits all of the criteria of the DAISY Award. My wife who has received at least one unit of blood every week since February 2013 has gone from a nervous and scared individual solely because of the kind, compassionate and competent care provided by Rachael. She is a super listener, fun to be around and her everyday personality lifts the spirits of the people (and husbands) she helps each and every day. Because of Rachael my wife had been able to accept this challenge every time she goes to the Infusion Center."
A second grateful patient wrote-
"I have been a patient at the Infusion Center for almost 3 years and Rachael has defined the behaviors and attitude I look for. She is kind, caring and consistently exudes a positive attitude to everyone around her. Not only is she highly skilled but makes all patients feel cared for."
