Rachael is always friendly, and talkative and I know she clearly cares about our patients. Her actions as a team member show her commitment to our families.
Rachael is always available to help all the staff and patients in the CRC. She goes out of her way to make sure the patient and family have a pleasant experience in the CRC. Often, it’s a friendly smile, an extra snack, and being professional that patients notice about her. Rachel is always friendly, and talkative and I know she clearly cares about our patients. Her actions as a team member show her commitment to our families. Research helps our patients and future patients, furthermore about their illnesses. It brings hope to families. Our CRC clinic is vital to the ongoing care at Texas Children's and to Rachael.

Rachael has been part of the implementation of monthly biological injections to food allergies and asthma patients in research studies for the past years. This is a difficult study to introduce to young children and patients (< 5 years of age) yet each and every encounter Rachael has with a child is a uniquely special one for the child and Rachael. She comforts the child before the injection, uses her patient movements with quiet words, encourages and says easy-to-understand terminology, and prioritizes certain patients. She relaxes them and the parents and is always so very kind. The children come in knowing they do not like the “poke” but are happy to see Rachael is there to give them their injections. She is kind and child-friendly, groups their fears but puts them at ease. We are all grateful for her care to help with excellent patient care, family acceptance, and professional encounters, which Rachael always offers. It’s a pleasure to work with her.

Rachael has been amazing! She is so kind and informative. My kiddo and I feel safe around her. We are so glad we get to be her patients.
