We traveled across the United States to deliver our very critical baby at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. We spent 62 days in the CVICU, while our baby fought for his life and overcame many obstacles. Rachael not only cared for our baby, but touched our hearts forever. She went above and beyond for us. She genuinely loves and cares for her patients and goes out of her way to show that. She wasn't just a nurse, but a great friend that kept me smiling and laughing when the days sometimes felt hard. On the day that we were discharged, she helped me finish our beads of courage, she helped me get pictures, and spent some wonderful time with us. I hope that everyone who ever has a hospital stay, has a "Rachael." An amazing nurse is never, ever to be forgotten.
