I was admitted with a large amount of infection on the left side of my face. I was very scared and in extreme pain. I could sense the genuine concern and desire from Rachael to help. She comforted me, she explained and talked with me. The next day, the swelling had greatly increased to where my eyes were starting to swell shut. After a quick assessment, and knowledge of what this might mean, she contacted the doctor immediately.
Dr. G said she really pleaded my case and her quick response prompted and emergency surgery that night instead of the next afternoon. Further discussion with medical personnel convinced me that she may have saved my life and prevented the infection from going into my brain or heart.
Rachael is a compassionate and knowledgeable nurse. I will never forget the sweet smile, kind heart, and quick response. Thank you.
