A patient came through the Emergency Department who had to have her dress urgently cut off. Rachael learned the patient only owned two dresses that fit her that were a size 8 X. She attempted to buy her a dress to replace the one that was cut off and could not find one so she bought the materials and sewed a new dress that fit her. She went above and beyond and showed true Mercy values of dignity, excellence, and respect for this patient. We are so proud and honored to have Rachael on our team as she embodies the Mercy values.
