Rachel takes all the inpatient holds and controls that workflow with the highest professionalism. I witnessed Rachel going out of her way to make sure a patient was taken care of. Rachel kept the patient calm by making stops in the patient's room while still giving her other patients care throughout the day. The patient kept asking, "Can you get Rachel for me? I need to talk to her. She makes me feel special." Rachel would check on the patient to reassure them that everything was going to be all right. As a co-worker, I cannot say enough positive things about Rachel. She helps make my job a lot easier. The minute she walks into the room, Rachel becomes a part of her patients' family. Rachel treats the patients just like her family, just like she has known them for years.
