Rachel Burd is not only an exceptional nurse who goes above and beyond for her patients, but she is always the first to step up and help with any and all patients in the department or in Urgent Care. She is such a positive co-worker who continues to give help and advice from her years of experience, but also gives friendly words of encouragement if you're having a rough day.
Rachel is a delight to work with every shift. She has helped myself and others to achieve our goals and inspire us. She truly is an invaluable part of the ED. Her job at Dayton Children's is a calling and an honor, not a "job" and she shows that each and every day.
