Rachel was absolutely amazing with one of her new admits that arrived at 12:30. She demonstrated a huge amount of compassion for the patient, kindness for mom who had been at home waiting to be admitted most of the day and she went above and beyond with the sibling of the patient by taking him to the cafeteria, including him in the admission process and letting him help his brother throughout. Rachel verbalized how sweet the family was and did not once complain that the patient was somewhat loud, agitated and a hard admission! She truly extended our mission. I later talked to the mom and she said they usually go to Nemours but hopefully they will switch to us. Rachel stood out with her compassion and she seems to really like her job!
