As we sat in the room, Rachel even brought an activity to keep M busy. This brought a huge smile to our dimly lit spirits of our daughter.
Helpful, gentle, friendly, attentive, kind, sensitive, professional, and joyful. We have visited the children's ER twice in 2020, once for our daughter (6) who had fallen and fractured her wrist. M still talks about how great the nurse was and what a great experience she had and that she is not afraid to visit the hospital. Today we had to bring our daughter, M (2) for a high fever in the middle of the night. Leaving the house my older daughter told M, I hope you have the nice nurse that took care of me. To our surprise, we again had the blessing of being under the care of our daughter with Rachel. She is a nurse who helps to ease our and many childrens' anxiety. She is gentle and with a touch for understanding a child. Although our visit had or could have tests that caused anxiety, she gave our daughter her gifted touch and helped to make a difference that quickly removed the tears and fears for M. As we sat in the room, she even brought an activity to keep M busy. This brought a huge smile to our dimly lit spirits of our daughter. She helped to brighten our child's spirits in a difficult time. I am happy that when we get home, M and my older daughter got to share the story of the wonderful nurse that cared for them.
